Yes! We only saw the one nest on this trip. In the past, we've seen many more. Wonder what's happened to them??
3 years agoNope. We used our Fraser Health wallet cards the entire trip. They were more valuable than our passports!
3 years agoI thought they were great, too! And very handy to keep the bugs out of your eyes, I'm sure. Mother Nature is quite the gal!
3 years agoHa ha ha! Took us many fields of corn to figure it out!
3 years agoOh, this is what’s going on here! We saw the same scenario a few days ago when we were watching the sacred ibises and couldn’t figure out what these two vehicles at the edge of the field were doing together.

3 years agoLooks like a beautiful area. Too bad about the weather but kudos for not taking the train! We were biking on that day, too, and I found it very cold where we were near Lake Constance.
3 years agoWow! I’m surprised there’s still a stork around. How lucky!
3 years agoGlad to see you found coffee and shelter for awhile.
3 years agoIt’s nice to see this country again, even on a grey day like this. We biked through here an the fall on our way from Hungary to Graz long ago and thought it was beautiful.
3 years agoI’m worn out thinking about you day! A note you might consider for the future though: Bike Friday carries/sells grommets to use as adaptors so you can use a presta valve on their rims. We’ve started carrying them in the tool kit because it’s nearly impossible to find schraeder valves in Europe in our experience.
3 years agoWhat an ordeal you had getting to Graz but it’s good you escaped the rain.
3 years agoI’m curious what you are carrying to document your vaccination status. Your digital BC Vaccine Card? The paper one issued when you got your jab? Canada still doesn’t have a national certificate.

We are thinking we'll have to go back again and do the ride on a warm, sunny day. It would be spectacular!
