Scott,
If you at the pictures closely, you can see Carhenge is for the birds!
Jeff
Andrea,
No more! I'm about to cry.
Jeff
Carhenge! This one’s definitely going on the bucket list.
5 years agoMontana does this too, on their license plates. I will see a Montana plate in Portland and chirp out, “Oh, look, those people are from Butte.”

What a fun time!
I look forward to Emily's posts of her rides in Australia. She is one determined gal!
Jeff
Andrea,
So sad!
Thanks for letting me know -I needed to know.
Jeff
Jeff,
Your recent journal entry came to mind as I was sitting there.
I was completely detached from touring for a moment - just eating and watching TV.
Jeff
Kathleen,
Yes, I could have spent a couple of hours there, if I'd had the time to spare.
Jeff
Scott,
Thanks. I'll remember that day, even without the photos!
Jeff
Tim,
Yes, running a well pump. The motor was so loud! Only time for a quick picture.

Re Emily Sharp:
Mary and I had a meal with Emily in Corowa during our ride along the Murray - See our journal Australia's Great River.

5 years agoSo I'm not the only one who sits in small-town Nebraska bars in the middle of the day watching M*A*S*H while bike touring!
For some reason I barely stopped and looked around Rushville last month when I rode through. The museum looks interesting.
I did see that, and almost said something. All the more reason to put it on the list.
