3 years agoSurprised you didn’t mention anything about the surface of the streets in Mantova. The most bone crushing ride I can remember.
3 years agoI've read about problems with the Ottolocks but I own two! Luckily, I haven't had any problems (yet)! Glad you were able to get out of your jam!

3 years agoThat’s it? Couldn’t you have circled the walls a bit and made it an even 80? Maybe those stairs at the end of the day should count for an extra mile.

I can't carry my loaded bike either, though maybe with my new, lighter bike and only two panniers it *might* be possible. In ant case, at train stations by myself I usually pop off the panniers and make two trips: one with the bags and one with the bike. More often than not, someone will volunteer to help.
