It’s great to see a different part of Paris.

3 years agoThat’s hilarious about the Kum and Go. A commission is a commission, and kudos to K&G for reaching out to a leading international architect. I looked up photos and that building is a beauty.
3 years agoHi Rachael
I understand your fear but It’s not quicksand like we think of it from old westerns- the kind where you keep sinking until you die. No, these have solid “floors” and are more like a mud hole that takes a little effort to break the suction.
You have managed to fit yet another fantastic adventure in your travels!
3 years agoWhat a beautiful place and it’s great to hear from you again. I can’t wait to get back to France.
3 years agoLooks great but I don’t like the idea that I’d have to extract myself from quicksand. I had enough trouble with chestnuts.
3 years agoOne more interesting thing to add to my list. I had never heard about this area before. Thanks!

3 years agoAn LSV? Really? Where are you thinking of as your home base? Do keep us in the loop on your progress on this. It’s a step that’s been in the backs of our minds for awhile also.
3 years agoThank you Rich, and thanks for your comments along the way. Please let me know if you want more info on the VIA for your trip next year. There is a lot of gravel, so my advice would be to perhaps consider a wider tire than you might otherwise use. But it’s a fantastic route! I look forward to reading about your trip next year.
