Of rhe two hypotheses, I'm sticking with the Porsche one, Mark. It gives me greater hope that we might all be able to similarly over-achieve. One day, the Porsches will be drafting us!! 😁

It's entirely within the realm of possibility that I was drafting a Porsche, but knowing my typical pace it's much more likely that I put the decimal point in the wrong place for the maximum and average speeds. Take a guess in which direction. :-) One of these days I'm going to try to find the original paper copy and see what it says.

I saw white, grass stained New Balance shoes; just barely too short shorts, majestic mustache to match an equally spectacular head of hair. There were eagles and flags and fireworks. Awesome read! I remember nothing but rain while we were out there; rain and snow. But seriously, the PACNORWEST broke me of my habit of staying inside and waiting for the rain to stop.
