Yeah I hope I can make it to Trinidad too. It's going to be exciting trying to find sailing boats or other vessels between all the islands, let's see if I make it there!
5 years agoThank you Keith!
5 years agoDitto on the other comments. Nice to have you here. I've just about finished your first book, and it never gets boring. No surprise.

Thanks Catherine, welcome along. But don't drink too much!
5 years agoHi Sue, that's great, you'll love the Yucatan. I rode there back in 2011, make sure you check out the cenote at Dzitnup. Unfortunately we won't be there by December as we are planning to take things pretty leisurely and be in Mexico City around New Years. If we go to Yucatan it'll be early next year. If you decided to hang around let us know!
5 years agoThanks Kathleen and Keith, hope to give you some inspiration!

5 years agoThanks Scott and Rachael,
I think the answer is that you should cycle South America. But let's see...
Thanks Frank, wishing you safe riding also!
5 years agoHey Chris, glad to see now there's two lots of blogs to follow, with your new one being so regular it will be just like in the good old days of The Long Way Round! :)
5 years agoChris! Dea!
What a great way to start the day seeing two of my favorite cyclists back with a new journal. I will be following every step of the way. From my chair of course.
Cheers,
Keith
Hooray! Looking forward to the more regular updates here then - although Malcolm feeds me info from your social media updates sometimes, it's really not the same as your more long-form writings! And the other journal, whilst great, is a long time between drinks.
Carry on!
So so happy to see you blog here! I have missed your everyday updates and will look forward to hearing from you in two places! We are headed to the Yucatan at the beginning of December - any chance you'll make it over there?
5 years agoSo delighted you are here! We look forward to all your adventures. South America is an area we look forward to exploring so we will follow with interest.
Kathleen (and Keith)
Thanks for the link! We took a look but are none much the wiser, except now we know that herons and egrets look very similar.
