Polly Low commented on Day 19: Newmarket to Cambridge

What a great day! I'm glad to see the Fort St George is still going strong, too -- I spent a certain proportion of my student life there...

I read all the Brother Cadfael books years ago (from the library) and have been acquiring them as ebooks when they go on sale to read again before I go to the UK. I have 18 so far. I will definitely be visiting Shrewsbury!

I can only imagine how frustrating that is for you two….4 hours for 10 k. You have a lot more patience than I do … we admire your perseverance to carry on and make the most of it. Wishing you smoother sailing ahead.

Ugh. Congratulations to you two for persevering. That sounds like a frustrating and tiresome day. I hope Shrewsbury is worth it!

Yeah, the train station's more impressive, innit?

The wheels are 16 inch vs 20 inch for the Friday's. The fold is brilliant and they are terrific commuter bikes but would be hard to use for touring, although we have seen it done.

You will absolutely love it! I have the whole series (Dodie) so feel free to ask, borrow, and enjoy.

I am a British Murder Mystery lover. I am looking forward to discovering a series I haven’t read.

It makes a NWT look gargantuan by comparison.

Sounds like a really great plan. But we need to make sure all teeth are dealt with first.

That sounds like me strongly recommending Keith try the antibiotics rather than yanking the tooth until it gives proof of being absolutely and totally dead. I see a long debrief at Drumroaster when we all get home.
