What did you do to get them to look at you?

All power is out after a vicious storm. But now we have found an open grocery, 15 km from the storm centre. We are taking the shoulderless road to avoid likely washed out gravel tracks.

Ah yes, the architecture style we call "crumbly". Also popular in southern France white villages.

This is turning out to be quite an adventure, and rough going, too!

Looks like single track riding in Czechia. I decided in a single whhel trailer to tackle those parts. I always find myself on gravel single track & 2 wheel trailer is a bit tough to deal with. So tomorrow I fly out with stopover in Montreal to Amsterdam. Here is my link to my journal:

Hier wird gezeigt, wie lange es dauert, bis ein weggeworfener Gegenstand in der Natur verrottet. Beispiel: Blechdose 25 Jahre, Flasche 1000 Jahre, Zeitungspapier 4 Monate.

What an amazing spread. Eis or no eis, I wouldn’t be able to resist!

Jacquie Gaudet commented on Day 73: Kelheim to Nittenau

Interesting. We’ve only once or twice needed to close the windows because of smoke or noise during our 8 weeks here in Italy. We’ve chosen not to eat somewhere because of smokers but that’s about it. We often eat inside for shade or air conditioning or simply because there are fewer diners than outside (and no smoking indoors).

No idea what kind of balls are used for pickleball as I’ve never played it or seen people playing closely enough to notice the ball.

A couple years ago I remember talking to a German who was quite upset about a recent law being passed permitting mopeds on cycle paths. It appears that law is still on the books.
