I didn't realize you were back on the road until this morning. So I sat down to read your journal, enjoying every page immensely, only to find this was your last day.
I must say, your pictures are wonderful. And I was as amused as you were over the idea of an Indian-Italian restaurant. I will count that as an excellent entry for the monthly food challenge.

3 years agoI didn’t know much about Fulda except the Fulda Gap, which was the focus of much Cold War military planning. Thank you for showing me how beautiful the area is. Glad the “gap” is a thing of the past.

3 years agoI’ve been really surprised by all of the sunflowers here. I always associate them with France, but I’ve seen more here.
