IMO e-assist and shorter daily distances will be the secret.

3 years agoI always enjoy reading your tour journals, Suzanne. Besides the adventure I know that we’ll see wonderful photography. I too applaud you for continuing to cycle and to tour. So many of us just don’t. And you were smart enough to break it up and take care of yourself, then continue. I look forward to the next journal.

3 years agoThanks, Tricia! I agree that the difficulties are often overestimated. And I hope we have a few more future tours to look forward to.
3 years agoI am sure you will do it for a long time yet. I think that people overestimate the difficulty of cycle touring
Have enjoyed following you along
Tricia
Thanks, Greg! I am glad that you enjoyed reading. I never got around to posting my food pictures for the food challenge although I took them with that in mind. I'm just warming up to cycling and journaling at the same time. Maybe I'll be better at it in the future and won't go AWOL over at Bicycle365!
3 years agoCongratulations on getting to your destination! I really enjoyed the pictures!
3 years agoNicely organized, and —- you seem to carry so little compared to what I usually end up with! But then again, I have not done any actual on the bike touring for a long time now. ;’-(.
