Your photos do make the hotel look nice but then again I've stayed in far worse hotels and hostels in my travels so I think it's a matter of perspective.

These are the persimmons I grew up with in Japan. You dare not eat them until they are completely ripe and mushy. Otherwise they are really astringent and make your mouth really pucker.

We loved looking at the seafood sections in the Portuguese and Spanish markets. All so fresh and unusual to our eyes. Counters full to overflowing in the mornings and picked over and almost empty by end of day.
