3 years agoRepacking the gear after weeks of sorting and packing it precedes every adventure, and the opportunity to add one more thing.
3 years agoI laughed out loud when I read, “It is unclear how we will ride.” After a wonderful meal like that and all the liquids it certainly would take extra balancing to ride.

Cremona! One of my favorite places. From your initial map it looks like you’re bound for Mantova and Verona. if you’re unhappy about the cobblestones in Cremona, be forewarned: check your fillings and tighten all the screws before you get to Mantova.
3 years agoThings change daily. You have to do the EU PLF which is self-certifying (no documentation). This lack was holding up many at check in. We had to show vax card at gate and get temperature check. Needed paper boarding pass for stamp which was not a big deal but those using app unhappy.
There is no single place that describes what to do or when. Again speed of change is tough for airlines.
We did PCR as a belt & suspenders approach -- paperwork always helps when officials are unsure. We will see how well it works on arrival.
We’ll be flying to Europe in a few weeks and are interested in your Covid protocol experience. I see you’ve been vaccinated, but you also got a Covid test before your flight. Was this a requirement?
