In Chile, the leaves are used to wrap food before placing on hot coals to cook. It is a traditional meal on Chiloe Island.

When I first read this I thought it said "fairies" & was going to ask if they are anything like the Pyreneen Fairies? Then I re read it & was disappointed that is is Friary!
