A heathen, eh? Me too. I've stayed in several church-run hostels, mostly on the Transam route, and feel like that's a good use of the church. And I don't mention that I'm a heathen, especially in rural America. A fellow heathen and bike adventurer - now I'll have to read more of your journals...

The sign says "Birthplace of Paul Jr." So it seems safe to say they had children, although Paul Jr could have had a mother other than Lucette.
