I like to think I'm a pretty tough chick, but I would have most definitely used the heat or AC. I thought the whole point of paying for roofed accommodation was climate control and a shower :-)

When we were in Idaho last year we had the same issue with masks. They not only didn’t require masks in the grocery store, they gave us dirty looks for wearing them in the store. I’m glad you’re vaccinated but be careful! We want to meet up again some day.

Goose grenades? Hard to believe they were a threatened species in the mid-1950s!

Hi Greg
You need internet to download the ap to your device but once you have it it works just like a Garmin or similar devices.
As Bob wrote the free version will record where you have been and show your current position on the map so you don't take a wrong turn.

If you have the paid version of RidewithGPS, you can definitely download your route ahead of time and access it without internet access. Or, as a free option, plain old Google Maps let's you download an area ahead of time for offline use.

Yeah, there's a town named Athol in Massachusetts that I used to drive through on the way to see my son at college. I'll admit that I chuckled like an adolescent teenager whenever I saw the sign.

She must have been asked that question many times before. And she was probably also well-coached by her manager as to the correct response.

I know what you mean, Suzanne. But in this case, Idahoans actually do pronounce it "Pondoray."

I have antivax family members in North Idaho, my brother's mother-in-law is in the hospital with covid/pneumonia as we speak.
