Kelly,
Thanks for researching about this theater. I thought it was newly-built.
Sorry this reply is so late.

Jeff Teel replied to a comment by Scott Anderson on a photo in Day 87 - ending near Buford, ND

Scott,
Thanks. I think I zoomed in too much on some of my photos. They looked OK on my phone, but not so much on a computer screen.
Sorry this reply is so late.

Jeff Teel replied to a comment by Bill Shaneyfelt on a photo in Day 86 - ending at Alexander, ND

Bill,
I took this picture because I liked the color contrast. I didn't notice at the time that it looked like a tree trunk on its side, but it does.

Bill,
I've never seen a gate like this before. It was easy to use.

Greg,
Thanks! That area is a little challenging with the ups and downs, but certainly is beautiful.

Bill,
Thanks to the information you provided, I now know why this beetle was standing on its head!

Nancy,
Having the extra wheel was a comfort. Yes, the weather dictated some rest days, which was good thing.

Tim,
Interesting. I can't imagine how much I'd cringe trying to drink vinegar! Fortunately, leg cramps weren't a problem most nights.

Jeff Teel replied to a comment by George (Buddy) Hall on Day 82 - still at Medora, ND

George,
I didn't know the Northern Tier went through Medora. I lucked out getting a table both times I visited the Cowboy Cafe. I did see others leaving before they were seated, since the place doesn't bother with a waiting list.

Jeff Teel replied to a comment by WALTER LOCKWOOD on a photo in Day 80 - ending at Medora, ND

Walter,
Thanks for signing-up/signing-in to post this message! I'm very late with my response to you, as you can see. None-the-less, I want to thank you for posting your observations on my health. I'm sure your independent assessment reassured readers that I was getting better.
I'm glad I got to meet you and later your wife. Without your input, I would have missed a lot of what there is to see in Medora.
I'm home now. You're probably still 'on the road'. Best wishes as you make your way along, hopefully to drier, warmer locations.

Gregory Garceau commented on Two Weeks Later . . .

I agree with George, it was an epic journey by anyone's standards. I know I've never seen anything like it. Even though they won't show up on your journal, I hereby award you two thousand more hearts for your thorough exploration of The Great Plains.

Congrats on making it home! By my count (and I may have missed a thing or 2), you survived 4 rear flat tires, 4 front flat tires, 2 ruined tires (both front & rear), a cracked hub which eventually resulted in a wheel replacement, a broken spoke, a tip-over wreck, and a bike on fire! Not to mention a nasty cold that almost ruined the trip. It was certainly an epic journey by anyone's standards. Best of luck on your future tours,
