Steve,
I was hoping just hand-holding the cassette would be enough, but it wasn't. Then I was going to hand-hold the chain, but letting the rim hold it worked better.

Larry,
Thanks!
Congratulations on completion of bicycling in all 50 states. What an accomplishment!
I didn't see any bison on my trip. You certainly did on yours!

Kelly,
I remember getting tickets from a machine like that! I'm surprised you had to hand-rewind the reels of film, but I guess that makes sense.

Kathleen,
Except for the freckles, I looked like that in the '60s building trucks and bridges with my Erector sets.

Jeff Teel replied to a comment by Nancy Graham on Day 100 - ending at Arthur, ND

Nancy,
Actually, Hope has the museum and Page the movie theater. My interest in movie theaters is that CycleBlaze member Kelly Iniguez likes to see pictures of them. She owned/ran several, including the one in Lamar, Colorado, I found out after taking a picture of that one. I'd never been inside the projection booth of a movie theater, so that was a treat for me.
