Rich,
I'm hoping to rebuild the wheel with a new hub, using the existing rim and spokes. I've never rebuilt a wheel, so we'll see how that goes.
Jeff
Steve,
From Portage to Preston looks like a great trail route! Glad I got to see part of what you rode.
Jeff
Nancy,
It certainly is a beautiful area with great trails.
Jeff
Wes,
Proof it's a small world!
Thanks so much for all the information on roads ahead. That was quite a help to me.
Jeff
Wes,
I actually took a picture right after the McDonald's of the road ahead. The fenced-in gas or electrical station was messing up the view I had of what I thought was a well-kept farm, so I used a picture I took later on "up" the road.
Jeff
Wes,
Now that I'm home, I'm finally getting caught up on responding to journal comments. Sorry this is so late. Thanks for signing-up to send me your messages.
I'm so glad I got to meet you at the covered bridge, and even more so that you pulled over the next day. I'm just sorry I didn't get your picture.
Jeff
Kathleen,
Thanks! He's so sweet.
Jeff
Nancy,
This was the first time I'd seen goats for hire. The later day picture was where a group of them were stationed in a park.
Thanks. Our new grandson was early, and I was late getting home, but we've met each other now, so all is well.
Jeff
Steve,
I thought so!
Jeff
Bill,
Ouch (for you)!
This turtle was below the dam and I was above. No way to get too close to it.
Jeff
Bill,
It's definitely not too common for me - it's my preferred breakfast!
Jeff
Tim,
Good calculations! You would have been right-on if I hadn't skipped a day off.
Jeff
Kathleen,
At least for the moment, I have two on the ground ;-)
Jeff
Kathleen,
Well, thanks!
Jeff
Steve,
1 year agoRebuilding the wheel is the plan, but using the same spokes, as well as the rim.
