That looks like a great trail. Clear weather shows it off.

YAY! I am caught up with and glad to know your are not cutting your trip short - unless of course your health needs to stop and rest. I love reading your blog.

Thank you (and your older son) for the tip about Amazon photo app. I am now going to try to download photos to that. I am slowly catching up to you ;’-). Though we are driving, I get my bike out as often as I can!

Hey Jeff, we are in Nebraska too! Lincoln on our way to Kansas. I can surely relate to fast wifi as we have here in the hotel we chose to stay in to escape the heat. We are Van/RV camping but needed a break from the near 100 degrees. Driving does not show us nearly the beautiful photos you have taken. But the fast wifi is such a treat to be able to post my blog (not here on Blaze). This is as far as I have gotten on your journey, will keep plugging away to catch up.

Thanks! Glad to get good feedback!

A bit about me and why I do this. Got a Zoology degree from AZ State in 1969... Ended up as explosives safety for a career... Frustrated Zoologist. Been riding bikes since 1956. First tour 1963. Last tour 2011 journal posted on cgoab (Heart Attack Comeback). Knees going bad, so no more tours, but I can ride the internet and use my background to look stuff up and help others. Last journal still has stuff without IDs, but it became pointless when hitcount dropped to near zero after I got home. So, I know what it is like to try to keep up a journal with limited time, limited energy and limited internet, let alone take photos and then post them, even without IDs.

Keep up the good work!

Bill, I just want to tell you how glad I am that you're here. I love picking up these tidbits of information. As someone who knows nothing about flora and fauna, it's fascinating!

Steve,
I asked for a heavy duty tire, and this is what they gave me. I do like the looks of it.

Steve,
There was one day that had a caution about smoke and air quality. I think this was the day.
