I’m kinda glad that your hub broke completely while you were riding slowly (it seems). Now no worries about it breaking as you speed down some unexpected hill!
So many wonderful people to meet gives us hope for the world!! That was quite a nice bunch of stuff you acquired from the one guy, and $20 for you meal was nice too. Keep on rollin’ safely.

You take some great photos Jeff. Riding on unpaved roads takes a lot longer adn you still find time to post hoots and stories. Unpaved riding is not my choice of cycling, but you make it seem and appear like a great thing to do!! Today’s museum looked rather interesting as museums go. I often pass those up as I have seen many, but there are times to take a look and I do.
Thanks for continuing to take us along on your journey.

I know it's a precautionary measure. I get it, but I'm impressed that you're still carrying that wheel.

Another great thing about touring in the remote areas of the Great Plains is that you can still find a $10 tent site. I've been reading some journals in which folks are paying $40-50.

I’m sure the townsfolk are happy to have a movie theatre, but it should look like one!

Google tells me the original building was built in 1954 and has had a couple of remodels, the most recent in 2022. It is now a non profit.

George,
Thanks for following my journal so faithfully. Sorry the postings aren't more evened out.
My thoughts are starting to turn toward home, but I'd sure like to finish this Great Plains Trail first.

Rich,
Thanks! I'm amazed at what I've been seeing myself. I wouldn't have routed to some of these places except for trying to stay on the Great Plains Trail. It's been a challenging adventure.

Nancy,
Thanks for your comments! I'm still looking forward to arriving home, but hopefully it'll be at the scheduled end of the tour.

Mike,
As you know by now, my plans turned around. I kept imagining how disappointed I would be when I arrived home and was over this cold. Anyway, it all worked out and I'm well now.

Kathleen,
Thanks! As you know, my cold took a last minute turn for the better, and I was thankful.
