1 year agoI am playing catch up here. So now I see what you were up to those last 2 weeks - and why hockey was out of the question! Will jump on here from time to time to check in. Bon Voyage! By the way we are headed to Paris on June 16th for a month in France. Zero biking but a ton of walking, eating, drinking and discovery.

Switzerland does it quite nicely. You can check out their APP. super easy to use and super easy to book travel with your bike. and no they did not boil the ocean LOL - oh maybe they did! THAT IS WHY THEY ARE LANDLOCKED!

1 year agoGreat to see you underway. Isn’t Annecy a lovely town though? At least in the off season, but I don’t know if we’d like it so much later in the year.
1 year agoWe started our tour in Italy last year with our first ride in 5 months. The first couple of days were challenging and day 3 became an unplanned rest day.

1 year agoBookings are required for TGV’s, and that effectively limits / reduces demand. Trying to make a booking system for the regional TER trains would be like tying to boil the ocean IMO and be counter to the underlying philosophy of encouraging ridership. Although it’s a times chaotic the current system works.
