Thank you!
1 year agoOMGosh it never stops.
1 year agoYes so stunning. You are fortunate to be there when it’s quiet and the leaves are not out so you can see out into the expansive vistas.
1 year agoSo beautiful!
1 year agoWowzers!
1 year agoI am trying to figure out if we might be able to fit these rides of yours in our itinerary. Just incredible! Thanks for posting such great photos and explanations of what you are seeing and doing!
1 year agoSpectacular scenery. Jaw dropping!
1 year agoThe water hotel! The same place we stayed last time. I can’t believe it was just last year we were here (to the day - we moved on on April 28th), it seems so long ago.
1 year agoThanks for taking us back there. One of the all-time best places we’ve cycled. Glad it was so great for you too.
1 year agoGlad to see you are following along. We have enjoyed following your travels and done similar trips. Yes, you are so right the Combe Laval is beyond descriptive words. We appreciate that we were able to experience it on our bikes.
1 year agoIsn’t it absolutely amazing? I have never been able to adequately explain it to people, even with pictures! I am so enjoying reliving the experience through you. To see it on a bike is just a gift.
1 year agoMy guess, based on the surrounding topography is about 30 m. Pretty cool!
1 year agoVery safe. We had about a car every 5 minutes (and we were stopped a lot) and about an equal number of bikes. Drivers are very respectful of cyclists … a lot of them probably cycle regularly too. ANd when we are roads like this, it 99% tourist traffic and even the cars are there to take it in. I couldn’t see driving more the 40 km/hr at best if you were in a car, and most are going the same speed or slower even than the roadies. We went slower down through here than we did climbing up to it …. Constantly stopping to pick up our jaws!
1 year ago… and I think it’s actually understating the actual experience.

It goes both ways Scott. You and Racheal inspired us to visit. 😊
