I've enjoyed following along with you. What an accomplishment!
2 years agoBrian - Have been following your ride for the past 7-8 weeks. I was on the 2020 COVID ride which terminated in Tombstone, AZ for me as everything shutdown. Enjoy your daily posts, including rider highlights - some of whom I knew from my 2020 ride. Awesome accomplishment. Congratulations! Larry Cook

2 years agoFor those that don't know, the bike ride from Eagle River to Prairie du Chien is the 'GRABAAWR' (The GReat Annual Bicyling Adventure Along the Wisconsin River'). My spouse and I road it in 2014, a year it ended in Richland Center, not at the Mississippi. Our ride ended in Baraboo, a day before end, as we had to get home to prepare for a wedding shower for our youngest daughter. It was very interesting riding from northern Wisconsin to south central part of state, seeing changes forest types, farming, etc. Don't know if George was on that particular trip.

2 years agoHope John's cracked carbon fiber bike can be fixed. When that happened to one of Scott's bikes, he put it on a trainer and now just uses it as a stationery exercise bike.
2 years agoBrian - You have been a big inspiration, showing what it looks like to make your dreams come true. Just a smidgen over 100 miles remaining! Thank you for giving us a daily window into your grand adventure.
