3 months agoGreat lighting on both the cycle path ( shadows) and vehicle roads ( perhaps tire marks & dew?)

3 months agoIt's a good plan for retirement. Sue and I are also planning on planting ourselves for periods of time at various places in Europe. Maybe one day we can ride our bikes together in southern France.
3 months agoWhat an experience. I second that you were lucky it was during the day. Imagine the sights you might have seen had it been the middle of the night 😂.
3 months agoNo kidding! That is so weird how time seems to move at a different pace depending on where you are! That’s why I plan to retire to a small village somewhere in the south of France. In anticipation of time slowing to a crawl! Not sure that Christine’s on board with the plan though!😳

3 months agoHawkmoth (sphinx moth) caterpillar. Possibly eyed hawkmoth, but there are quite a few similar looking caterpillars so the species is suspect at best.
