you are a life saver!!! We are in the middle of planning our kitchen reno and we found a 'wood grain look' for the lower cabinets and the island. We were stuck with what to put on the floor as we did not want tile. this picture said it all!!! We went out and bought a lighter colour 'wood grain' floor covering and after seeing this picture we know it will work. Well done Ann and Steve!

Yup, missed the great deluge. It’s hard to fathom that much rain in such a short period of time. We had a few damp days but for the most part our luck with the weather has been spectacular.

Just reading through a few of your daily summaries. Sounds awesome but also a lot of physical endurance! Wow. Nice though you are taking breaks and enjoying the people and towns. Great pictures of what seems like spectacular scenery!

Happy anniversary to you both!

Hi Scott
Omgosh, this route is exceptional. We thought it was going to be great but it has far exceeded our expectations. We are working on the last two days' blogs - every day is spectacular! Thank for your fabulous blog which was one of the reasons we chose this route. We are following your travels this fall, inspiring as always for future trips. You seemed to have missed the avalanche of rain in Northern Italy?

Thanks Karen, loved to come back and stay longer. Now that we are in Spain I think my choice spot would be San Sebastien and maybe take some Spanish lessons.

Rob you would just love it. Up in the mountains we see lots of mountain bikers, pretty dirty coming out of the hills but all with big smiles on their faces.

Yes, San Sebastien is beautiful, Kathleen had been here and raved about it, so we wanted to come too. Love to come back for a month at least and maybe take Spanish lessons
