Hi Rachel
Fab trip. However wifi is weak here through the middle of France. We are hoping for better reception tomorrow and can update our blog and reply to comments. Thanks for following along. New respect for you and Scott writing every day!

For future reference all cemeteries in France have potable water - a fact that has bailed me out several times while cycling in France. The faucet is often located just inside the gate. I’m enjoying the trip

Ann - Thanks for the info. I'll hope that the US vaccination cards are as readily accepted as your Canadian cards.
I'm planning a loop ride between Munich and Bologna, passing through Cortina and the Dolomites on the way south and probably Bolzano and Innsbruck on the way north. I've made a rough start to the journal but don't want to make it public until I at least make it to France!

I applied about the 15, Steve the 20. We have heard nothing from the government. So far we have had to show our Quebec vaccination certificates only twice but it may be more tightly enforced in bigger centres. So we have chosen not to go to a pharmacy and pay 25 Euros for a three day pass. Good luck. Where are you riding to?

Delighted to hear that you made it!! I plan on leaving the US for Paris this Sunday and applied for the Passe Sanitaire via email on Aug 18 and last night using the new online portal. I've not heard anything back.and am wondering when you applied for the Passe Sanitaire, and if/how you are able get one now that you are in France.
Looks like you're in for a great trip - Enjoy!!
