First you need a credit card and a computer... Then you look for photos you might want to buy, then...
Looking forward to your report. Hopefully you will have been transported "several hundred miles down the road... the weather would be better there . . ."
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't even know how to photo shop.
1 year agoI imagine this to be unbelievable photoshopping... :-)
1 year agoYOUR head is spinning? Heck, I can't even figure out what you just said, and worse than that, whatever it is you did say might be exactly right.
1 year agoYou know how I feel about it. But there's one thing nagging at me. If this is a work of fiction, then it's possible that you really ARE riding around the world in 3 weeks, and packaging it as a parody. So the fiction could be that the journal is fictional! Makes my head spin.
Hmm, I'm gonna have to sit with this....
I don't know about the other slackers on Cycleblaze, but I'm gonna hold you to this. I predict you do the complete circumnavigation in less than 3 weeks.
1 year agoI must admit that I actually WAS a roadie at one time. This picture was taken very early in my touring career--before I knew any better.
1 year agoI think what I find most concerning are the tights.... those are for roadies and recreational cyclists... not serious touring cyclists, right?
1 year agoI'm impressed you got sleeping bag, tent and cooking gear plus clothing and electronics in one pannier :-) I always figured if you were riding motel to motel and not cooking for yourself that one pannier would be quite sufficient, but being self-sufficient was a at least a whole 'nother pannier. Well done, you minimalist.
I truly hope this world tour goes places with icicles....
Sicily, eh? Hmm, I just might be able to make that happen.
1 year agoOn my first couple of tours I carried a small coffee percolator, but . . . a bread making machine? That's going a step too far. Thanks for sharing that, Rocky.
1 year agoWhew! Nice to know I'm not the only one this happens to.
1 year agoWhen we were touring in Japan we ran in to Frenchman who was carrying an special oven for baking bread!
1 year agoThanks! I needed a good laugh!

Hey, slow down! Across the Dakotas in one day! You’ll be around the world in just a couple of weeks at this rate. The dog won’t even know you’ve been gone.
