Ron Suchanek commented on DAY THIRTY-ONE: The Daring Escape Plan Revealed

I'm glad you made it back, but selfishly sad that it's over. Maybe you could head out on another journey the opposite direction.

The old Superman-corking-the volcano trick!!! It's got a high success rate, but almost nobody uses it.

Now what are the odds of running into Chef G in Mexico???

Fun! I enjoyed finding the "out of the ordinary" in your pictures! And I did recognize some of the old ones as well.

Thanks for writing this unbelievably imaginary round the world tour!

Thanks for reading and for the comments, Nancy. I'm sure this type of tour journal wasn't to everyone's taste, but I sure had fun writing it.

I agree about radishes in tacos. I never used to see them until recently, now I see them all the time. I do have to admit, though, that they provide a nice little crunch to the meal. Oh, and perhaps I can get Chef G. to a grill a few jalapenos next time he makes tacos. That really does sound good.

IDK what it is with tacos and radishes. They are often served together, but it doesn't seem intuitive to me. You are missing a grilled jalapeƱo in both photos . . .

What a thrill you have brought to all of us armchair travelers. It has been exciting on every page and now to see your conclusions. Thanks for the thrills and spills.

Thanks Rocky. Today's the day G-2 and I implement our escape plan. It better work or I could be at the border for a long time.
