Looks like a scene from Kansas --
1 year agoIt is great to connect with a like minded traveller. We never know how to respond to competitive cyclists on the road whose interest is solely in the distance...the longest day...how many km per trip? We certainly have a plan, but as you say, we take our time....plus we always stop for animals! Thank goodness Barry and I are compatible with changing plans mid trip or taking days to relax and enjoy where we are.
1 year agoChristiania bikes are great! I went to check out their store.
1 year agoDenmark is such a great cycling country. Even though we use digital maps with our navigation devices, we still love having a paper map.
1 year agoHi Charmaine,
What a great little car. It is the all electric Renault Twizy.
This is good to know that the Tourist Office has cycling maps that are so helpful! I hope to do some more biking in Denmark, and will make it a point to go to the Tourist Office!
1 year agoHi Charmaine,
We found that the campgrounds in Denmark were of a very high standard.
Thanks for your reply! I am really enjoying your journals of the different countries you visit!! Your riding style is similar to mine - - take your time, take pictures, see the sights and chat with people! :)
1 year agoHi Charmaine,
The sweet herring sandwich was delicious. Thanks for all great comments.
I love that the campgrounds in Denmark have a camp kitchen for people to use!

Yes, I'd say that is a well-worn and faded bicycle sign! :/
