Of course taking off your rain gear was a guarantee it would downpour again!

Are you sure the wires weren’t meant to keep out those pesky cyclists?

What an amazing thunder/lightening storm. Far surpasses anything I've ever seen either! Hopefully no more of those ahead for you.

What an impressive and awful experience to be in such a thunderstorm!
Good that you were in a hostal then!
There had been serious Unwetter in northern Italy that night..

Wow... another amazing day. You got to "sled" down a glacier and get zapped by an electric cattle fence, all in one day! But you are continuing to smile in the selfies, so I guess it all works out! Thanks (again) for giving us great narratives and wondeful photos of your days.

What an incredible place to visit/stay! 12,000 feet up is impressive, as is the picture of you/Monch.

Cool waterfall! Cordi and I saw something similar in Jasper NP, but we didn't get as up-close or down-deep as your walk through... awesome! Nice job figuring out a cost-effective deli strategy too!

Good way to end the day Erik... a nice meal and a hot soak. I admire your adaptability to changing conditions AND your ability to look at something as ONLY a 4000' climb.

Wow... Mt Blanc looks incredible! And what a grueling ride up the pass! At least the day included two bakery stops. That doesn't totally make up for the pain... but it helps. :)

Sunscreen blob still a thing in Switzerland, lol. Apricot looks great.

After watching the death defying descent with no shoulder, I'm glad to hear you took the bus to the top!

Wow - so much glacial melt in that stream. Thats the coolest gravel path.
