Ha ha. You mean George II? We are bad monkey owners. George I was lost somewhere during a train transfer in Italy. George II was lost in much the same way....in the same country. So, no more monkeys.

2 years agoThanks Kathleen. Fluffy duvets do sound nice! We are looking forward to it. The route is front loaded with lots of climbing. Going to be a nice respite when we get to the Adige River.
2 years agoI am jealous too. You will be in such a beautiful part of the world. We loved the Sella Ronda, and we hadn't planned on it until we were in Cortina. It was one of the highlights of the trip…even the mountain storm we were caught in on one pass was very memorable 😂. Type 2 fun. You have an amazing route planned and you are going to love those fluffy white duvets at the end of each day.
2 years agoHi David. I suspect we are going to enjoy 'hotelling it' very much indeed. It's definitely going to be a change for us, but one that we are looking forward to. Really enjoyed following your 'hub and spoke' trip. I suppose you are back at home in BC now?
2 years agoHey Patrick, We gave up taking a tent with us 5 years ago and haven’t looked back. It is harder on the budget for sure but the good nights sleep and carrying less weight makes a huge difference! I haven’t cycled in the areas you are going to so I am looking forward to following along.
2 years agoLooks like a great plan. I’m envious especially if your plan to bike the Stella Ronda, especially after following Jackie and Al’s experience there this summer. We’re going to have to find a way to make it back again soon.
2 years agoYou’d better! One of our favorite hikes anywhere.

This is wonderful. I’ve never noticed the sticker collection before.
