I have no idea. What's wrong with you people for even thinking such a thing.

Yeah, it was just a fertilizer plant, not Area 51.

I suppose you're longing for a little ice and snow after all that reminiscing with your Minnesota friend.

I remember that former article on that former site. It reminds me of a time in West Lafayette when I used to bike to my job in the warehouse of an electronics factory. It was the same thing - one instant I’m up, and a split nanosecond I was on the ground, amazed that the bike could slip sideways so fast.

Sorry to see this brilliant journal come to an end. You could go into overtime, and try to make it into Wisconsin in January.

That’s the place? Somehow it doesn’t look quite as inviting.

As a kid who grew up in Southern California, I always suspected that Wisconsin and Minnesota were actually the same place. Thanks for the additional evidence.

What Rachel said!!!

Good going for you though. I guess it takes growing up there to be deeply able to appreciate all there is to the snow and cold.

That's WAY better than being a stupid guy who does regular things, though.

Well, both Kathleen and Bill beat me to it. Hmmm, why did we all think of this Greg?

Isn't that one of the spots the Coen brothers used in "Fargo"? If not, it could have been.

Why on earth would image captures be prohibited? Is there, just out of frame or behind that screen of trees, a super-duper-top-secret-hush-hush government installation with black helicopters and men wearing trench coats, fedoras, and earpieces slinking furtively about in the shadows, murmuring into their wrists and glancing shiftily about them?

Hi,
Oh, for cool. I’m channeling my Minnesota side today. We have a guest visiting who I met in good ol’ MN, along with his Swedish wife. Lots of cold weather stories going around.
Cheers,
Keith
