1 year agoI remember experiencing the honking in Phuket at the top of a hill and shrine too . Couldn’t remember the reason. Thanks for the explanation.

1 year agoThese roadside shrines, often at hilltops or dangerous curves are places where people believe they should acknowledge the spirits to ensure safety on the road. We always ring our bells. But at first we thought they were honking at US, ha.
