Epic, perhaps, by Greg standards. Not by Homerian, or your goddessness's standards, but I'll try my best to be epic. I have yet to be delivered in the form of a frozen slab, and I hope to keep it that way.
11 months agoAs much as I'd like to leave that pest behind, G-2 will be coming along. I hope he can behave himself for the first time ever.
11 months agoI get it--beer and football are wonderful things. But I feel compelled to do this. Plus, the days are short, so I'm pretty sure I can work beer and football into my itinerary.
11 months agoI believe the God of the Church of the Great Outdoors will be watching over me. That god will certainly protect me from the bad weather conditions you mentioned.
11 months agoI'm sorry you will be "stuck in Tucson." For some reason, I doubt the sincerity of that excuse not to join me.
11 months agoIndeed, I will be watching the weather forecasts. I'm not a fool. Ha ha.
11 months agoPope Gregory I wish you all the best on your frozen pedaling pilgrimage. My knee joints have locked in protest at the mere thought of cycling in ice and snow. I cannot imagine ever trying such a tour, but I’ll eagerly read about your icy tour from the warmth of the southern hemisphere.
11 months agoI think it was Arte Johnson on Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In who had the catch phrase, "Veddy interestink."
11 months agoThank you for saying that, Mike. In the past, only my son and a couple of my nieces have used that term in regard to me. I like it.
11 months agoI have a feeling this is going to be epic. I’m sure the Feeshko is prepared to slow thaw out the delivery of a frozen slab of Greg.
11 months agoWoo-Hoo!!! Greg is back on tour! Looking forward to following along.
Will G2 be going? He's not as tough as you, so I was just wondering.
I think I’ll follow the lead of RACPAT and do that beer and football thing. But I’ll also enjoy reading about your January tour and feeling slightly guilty about not getting out more.
11 months agoI hope the weather gods are kind and that you don't have a month-long cold snap, ice and wind. I am in suspense.
11 months agoYou are definitely a badass cyclist!

Lord Graham, I thank you, as always, for your comments. In the same way as you can't imagine a wintertime tour my part of the world, I cannot imagine riding across your hot continent at ANY time of the year. I'd like to though--for the wildlife alone.
