Yeah, I'm pretty sure most people in every country talk about the weather more than any other topic. I suppose that's because weather is something that happens every single day and it's always different. I think Wilde knew he was calling EVERYBODY unimaginative.

I usually do pretty well in heat and humidity. In this case, the temperatures went from the 40's to the 90's in a matter of days. It was kind of a shock to the system.

I had never seen it until yesterday. It was good stuff. I drink milk every day.

Not one of his best! It's just conversational filler but it opens up other topics. Without talking about the weather most British people would only use their voices about once a week.
