2 years agoI think there were more elephant seals when you were there, but we found them so entertaining. We wouldn’t have known about it if it wasn’t for your journal.
2 years agoIt was more than a bit frustrating. Now that we are home I will get it attended to.
2 years agoIt would be nice to see how they look at harvest time. The extent of pruning grapes always surprises me. I have a couple vines that I prune (read hack) each year. Last year I had virtually no grapes on one that gave a buzz cut.

Thanks Tricia - glad you enjoyed it. We are thinking about another European trip but not sure when that will happen with all that’s going on. We are also thinking about another visit to New Zealand as a possible break from our wet winter weather next year. We shall see. And what about you and Ken …. any plans?
