Jacinto went for a walk also, and then to the gym. He wasn't very invested in my story about getting wet. I tried to spin it with all sorts of details, but he was just interested in where we were going for dinner! Men!
Happy New Year to you - did you see the full rainbow? I got a crummy photo, I'm sure Scott would have gotten an excellent photo.
Sorry you got caught in the rain but glad to hear you got out! I decided to walk today and it just kept getting nicer as I went. It was nicer than the last 2 days. It did help that I got back by 1:30 pm. Have a great New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
2 years agoIn just a few days, I will be hibernating in Rifle! Wishing I were complaining about 50 degrees and raining!

The sad thing is that I’m not getting the photographs you would with the same opportunity. I am appreciating the experience.
2 years agoBill,
We see coyotes semi often at home. It was fun, but not near as exciting as the bobcat sighting yesterday. I snuck up on both, which was interesting because I play music as I ride. You would think they could hear me coming. Perhaps animals in the area are used to people noises - including music.
Now, Kelly! We’re serious.
2 years agoHere in Dayton, OH, I often see their scat on the bike path, and footprints in the snow. Once in a while, I actually see one, but they are extremely wary here, and disappear before I can even pull out the camera.
2 years agoCold is definitely relative to where you are! At home in Colorado it has been snowing for a couple of days, with lows at night around zero. I have to say, I'm not sorry to be missing out on the snow shoveling!
2 years agoThief! You must have grabbed Rachael’s superpower when we met up.
2 years agoYes, it was close to Oracle Road, on the path! That would have been the first thing I said if I’d just seen it!
I think your parade of javalinas wins for ‘probably won’t see this again’.
I’m very envious. You should post this on the wildlife entry in the forum.
2 years agoOh my gosh! You didn’t mention this when we met. Was it after we left?

Happy New Year. Today I had a bit of sleet. It stings when it hits the face but mostly bounces off clothes.
