I think it's fantastic that you are doing this with your dad. I'm actually kind of envious because I'd love to do a cycling trip with one or both of my sons now that they are adults. Perhaps when my granddaughter is old enough...

We now remove the chain when packing our bikes. It makes the rest of the task so much easier (and cleaner).
