I bought the RT-40 panniers in 2006, a year after I moved to Oregon. Before that I used rear panniers only, with a lot of stuff piled on the rear rack. From 2006-2013 I had front and rear panniers.

How many years have you had the RT-40"s? Did you previously tour with both a rear rack and an underseat rack?
