I second Jon's guess. I don't know if they shoot from there or not. I just thought they were for spotting. In Germany they call them hochsitz, or high sit/seat. Is that right, Suzanne?

It is beautiful! And this isn’t even regarded as the scenic part of the country.

I wonder how widespread this is too. Oregon is such a great state! Now, I’ll have to start listening to convention speeches and checking the stock market so we can figure out how to vote.

You’d think that would have come up in the conversation, wouldn’t you? Ask him yourself the next time you’re over here.

Doesn’t seem very sporting. Just for spotting hopefully, or can they shoot from above like that?

I think you’re right about that, and it’s mostly bound for the livestock. We should give it a try though.

Of course, it could be what my dad called "cow corn", meant for animal fodder. There's lots of it grown in the Fraser Valley--along with the sweet corn we all love.

A hunter's tower, I think! I've seen them in various forms all in wooded areas all around Europe. Never seen a hunter in one, though.

Including a second, more traditional, penny farthing! I have to wonder what specifically makes them part of Zagreb's heritage.

No, it’s fine. That’s the Croatian style, which we see everywhere. It works because they’re all circular breathers, inhaling through their nose and exhaling through their mouth.

Great that you're going to be able to vote! We're fortunate here in our state that voting by mail, and voting early, is being strongly encouraged.

And happy to see that you're doing well in Croatia. It looks like a beautiful place.

Well, half precautions anyway. Not much point if your nose is open to the world.

Here's to the Team Anderson votes!

Cool that you can vote through the website/email! I wonder how many states offer that option?
