What a fascinating place to walk around!
I especially love the people photos.
I saw the word 'Nike' in this sign and thought it must mean something in Croatian.
I looked it up and the translation is 'Nike'.
Do you know if the sign is someone's name and maybe they were named after the Greek goddess before Phil Knight came around?
Cool selfie! Makes me think of an Escher painting.
Looks like a great place to stay.
Definitely a campanula, Bill will find out which one.

4 years agoItaly is quite a wonderful place! Our youngest spent a year studying in Perugia and then went on to Rome and finished at John Cabot University. I quite enjoyed our 2 trips there and wished I'd had a bike to get around. That was 15 or so years back, so being Italy, likely not much has changed.

I can see, though, maybe listening for 23 minutes or less. Nice that it was a good spot for people watching, too.
Well, I’m 73 and Rocky is 61; so technically we are both still in our primes. We should quit whining so much.

Interesting you should mention that you're past 'Team Anderson Prime'. I would guess that the physical condition you're in now is past most people's lifetime prime.
Youse are Rockstars!
Isn’t this nice though? I really liked how their colors are so compatible.

And love that polka dotted surface!
Looks like it. I love that name. It’s so descriptive.

Sharp eyes! It could be revering the Greek goddess, alright. Or, it could just be an athletic shoe ad. Another possibility is that it is honoring Nike Katunar, a martyred war hero who helped liberate Susak from the Nazis. Ulica means street, so my guess is that Labin named the street to honor him, as was done also in Rijeka.
