What a great photo!
Love the guy with the chihuahua.
A couple days ago, I would have said, "No windows, no roof? No problem! .. if the air is breathable."
If we* had the right combination of skills (???) we could do a little remodeling and open up a nice roadside coffee shop.
*Bruce has experience with old buildings! He could be our foreman!
A well deserved repast ... looks like a great view too!
4 years agoWhat a day but also what a nice break from smoky air outside and drywall dust inside (no N95s available around here). I'm always wondering "how far is that in km?" or "how much climbing is that in metres?" and just discovered if I click on "view full version" on your map, it comes up in metric units!
4 years agoThank you for appreciating the clean air, despite the adversity-loaded day.
Love seeing those blue skies and video of you breathing outdoors without an N95.
Tomorrow will be a better day!
Aaugh! That's terrible.
Glad you were able to use the bike to protect yourself.
Love that lighting.

4 years agoWow, what a fantastic ride - and what suffering you are going through to keep us entertained!
4 years agoMy thoughts as well. I was just reaching for a water bottle to squirt their way when she showed up.
4 years agoYIKES! So glad the owner was around.
4 years agoYou and Rachael really found the holy grail of cycle touring today. To me, this occurs when you select some random town to spend the night based on convenience and by sheer fluke you arrive on the day that the town's folk are celebrating one of their local traditions. Best of all there is not a tourist in sight and they are participating in the festivities for their own pure enjoyment. As travel experiences go, in my books it does not get any better. Bravo.
4 years agoI'll second that ... very cool photo!
4 years agoGood to know! Even when I search for Nike Katunar, Google returns a bunch of links related to the Brand.
Sad, because being a war hero seems a little more important than outfitting overpaid athletes.
Trust you to spot the important details. I missed the dog.
