We've been enjoying the photos of your happy and stress-free faces.
Limit your exposure to the steaming dung heap!
We made it through maybe 20 minutes before we had to turn it off.
It is all so hard to fathom. We watched snippets this morning - horrifying from start to finish. Personally, I think he drove the last stake in last night and will only stay in office by force - which certainly looks imaginable now.
We feel so conflicted over here. Aghast, saddened for friends and family back home, but relieved to be in a sane part of the world. We feel quite sure we won’t return until January, when our Schengen days are up (it does look like we can continue on to Italy and Greece from here). But I’m not sure even then - depending on what’s happening then we might shop around for another destination until this chaos subsides.
We watched in real time for the last part of the so called debate. Horror and nausea fought for the upper hand. OMG, the poor USA.
4 years agoThat’s it! Awesome job, Bill. After seeing this I browsed other photos of the plant. It’s hard to find any of it in its dry season.
4 years agoFantastic. I'd be talking about it the rest of my life too.
4 years agoI may have found it! Mint family whatever...
It looks like Jerusalem sage (Phlomis fruticosa).

I knew this would smoke you out.

4 years agoYou’re right, it does look like this plant. Perhaps not though, since Leonotis likes moist habitats and grows to 3-6 feet tall and this one is more like 8”. Interesting that it’s a relative of cannabis. It didn’t occur to smoke it.
4 years agoWow! Very cool to see from above. Definitely a memorable hike.
4 years agoCertainly nothing we've seen in the news lately.
Looks like an excellent place to disconnect from the nonsense!
Yes! Especially with the showy cumulonimbus clouds at a safe distance.
4 years agoLooks like African Leonotis genus.

Staying focused on the positive .... absolutely stunning ride. Such varied, and beautiful, terrain in a compact area. Was the lack of other vehicles in the video a result of selective editing or was it the reality of the day? Even if ‘selective editing’, it looked pretty sweet.
