Excellent capture of that 'small' feeling.

4 years agoYeah, the things you don't see when you're whizzing by on your bike, right? Gotta slow down sometimes and actually walk.
4 years agoI’m so glad we took this hike. It’s really given us a feeling for the island we wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. I’m thinking this might be the best way to see them - bike to a base, and then take a hike.

4 years agoPerfect video for 'miles from nowhere'!
4 years agoIt does look like a great place to kayak here. I’m keeping a mental catalog of great things here that we didn’t make time for.
4 years agoThat's some nice light and calm water!
Wish I was out there in a kayak.
The video was pretty accurate. Once you get past the suburbs south of Rab, it’s a dead end road to the ferry, which runs only every hour and a half. The wooded park (one of the most important oak forests in the Mediterranean) is gated, open to pedestrians and bikes only. There are a few miles north of Rab that carry traffic on the road to Kampor that we didn’t include (no pics either), but it really wasn’t bad either. You’re right, pretty sweet. I wish we’d stayed here longer.

Yes, really. Thinking back on the last six weeks it’s hard to grasp the diversity of experiences we’ve had. A remarkable country.
