Christianity has so many saints that I frequently run into exotic sounding ones I have never heard of. One I am fond of is St. Zotique - a street in Montreal. So here is the exotic sounding (to me) Saint Chrysogonus. But Saint Chrysogonus turns out to be the patron saint of Zadar. Everyone else knows that, I guess!
4 years agoI liked this shot particularly for... the lizard. 😊
4 years agoNo matter what the weather,it will be a bright sunshiny day with matching his/hers Sunshine Yellow Apparel.
4 years agoPresumably the common wall lizard, since there were so many of them around. I liked this shot particularly for the shadow cast by his foot.
4 years agoNice shot! Looks like our old friend the Italian wall lizard.

Although by my untrained eye, it might also be the common wall lizard.

Thanks for the reference. I haven’t seen this one before. Today’s winds were interesting, but nothing like the next day.
4 years agoYes, this is always a hot item on Rachael’s rating chart. This place hit all the marks.
4 years agoSounds like you're in a great place!
I always love proximity to a grocery store.
Wind seems to be prominent in today's post. Have you tried windy.com for wind forecasts? I've seen others comment on it as being pretty accurate.
4 years agoJust a quick note to say that Pat and I used Jadrolinija catamarans (quite large ships really) for travel on the southern Croatian islands with our Bike Fridays. Although their website indicated no bicycles, I asked the Jadrolinija line customer service in advance of our travels and they indicated that it would be fine but I also stated that the bikes would be in travel bags. Our travel was in a low season and we had no issues with them accepting our baggage. Adding cats to the logistical planning provides many more travel options but there is always a risk that some cranky crew member might turn you away.
4 years agoMaybe it's the SS Minnow from Gilligan's Island!
4 years agoThanks. It sure was an amazing hike.

4 years agoYes, that’s what I especially liked about this one too.

Doesn’t this just warm up your day though? Rachael and I are going to have to do this.
