Again, the water colors and effect “outshine” the bird…:)

OMG.. Crown-Zee paper! ( The Zellerbach family were a wonderful company) I remember being excited when the notebook was used up and I could uncoil the wire to create a fun animal of some sort.

I, too, went through the Canadian education system--plus I continued taking French past when I no longer was required to do so. And I took German in high school as well, though I remember very little of that. With respect to cycling, though, I was mounting some new fenders on my road bike and wondered why the instructions said to remove the springs from the quick-release skewers and never mentioned replacing them. The shop that installed the first set followed those instructions to the letter and didn't give me the springs to put them on when I removed the fenders. Fast-forward to installing a new fender to replace the one that got broken and noticing that the instructions in both French and German (they were German SKS fenders) specified that the springs should be installed outside the fender clips--a step that was completely omitted in the English instructions.

Having gone through the Canadian education system, I'd bet you could call on the Grampies to to translate for you, but illustrations are always good.

Sweet, I'll have to look for it.

First paragraph under Thursday: Julian Wash OAB."Today’s is our first real ride, with the previous short outings being primarily shark-outs."
I even checked the Urban Dictionary which mentions "peeling the shark out" from the show Dirty Jobs... "To intentionally perform a stupid and/or dangerous activity for the amusement of yourself and/or others."
That didn't seem to fit. Shoulda figured it was a typo of some sort.

It’s right where the streetcar turns at 4th and Congress.

I think there are quite a few, and the numbers are growing fast. For years there was only Odouls. There are even beginning to be credibly reviewed nonalcoholic wines developed, though I haven’t seen one on a wine list yet.

Are you messing with me again, Janice? I’ve reread this twice and still can’t find it. I’m sure though it’s another instance of the vision thing and was meant to be dark out.

I has no idea how many NA beers are out there. This is inspiration for what comes after Dry January.

While we're on vocabulary, what's a shark-out?
