11 months agoI would love to see a time lapse photo series of the construction of this structure.
A very handsome structure!

11 months agoWe were car camping. I was still working and it was during term time so I only had a few days off. Three days to drive down and two to drive back made it a whirlwind trip. My only regret is not stopping more for photos during the event.
11 months agoYup. Even without getting on the bike it was an excellent day. I’ve biked down this coast three times now but never stopped to take any of these side roads.
11 months agoYipes! That’s. Long drop to Crater Lake before breakfast, even without freezing.
11 months agoExcellent birthday portrait! It seems you had a nice day.
11 months agoWhen Al and I drove down to Santa Rosa to do the King Ridge Gran Fondo (in 2014, when it was in October and still based in Santa Rosa), we camped one night at Crater Lake. We woke to a frost-crusted tent and packed up with freezing fingers. We didn’t find a place to eat until Klamath Falls so breakfast was very late.
11 months agoThe California coast has so many exceptional spots, but this one’s really worth seeking out.
