Much improved indeed.
11 months agoWhat a beauty! What lines! What grace! How fast Pokey looks just sitting there!
11 months agoI’m not sure of its exact start but I’ve been riding on it since the sometime in the 2000s. Sections have been added over time. There’s some in the City of Half Moon Bay, in Half Moon Bay State Beaches, San Mateo County Parks, and Pillar Point Harbor. And as Scott mentioned, the south end runs on the Ritz Carlton’s golf course paths.
11 months agoI can’t find anything on its history, but it’s been at least a decade. I found a review of it from 2012.

11 months agoHow long has the Coastal Trail been around? I don't remember it from my time in SF...
11 months agoI used to live in the SF Bay Area and used to go to Half Moon Bay and up and down the coast - - sure is pretty! :)
11 months agoThanks, Charmaine. This is one of my favorite thinks about seeing Sauvie at this time of year. Its colorful for several months until they finally disintegrate.
11 months agoWow - -great picture with all the pumpkins in the field! And the colors!
11 months agoIf I’d thought of it, I should have worn Greg’s Caribou Coffee jersey just to throw you off. And I really should have worn it for Greg’s benefit - he’d have appreciated the third degree of separation connection.
11 months agoI’d know that bike jersey anywhere. And I did. Great fun to run into you two. And I’m glad you got to do the unofficial extension of the coastal trail through Cowell Ranch.
11 months agoLooks like a likely spot for a rip-tide!
11 months agoDoes that mean they are Canadian Snowbirds?
