Well done!
1 year agoThese guys are bigger and "spottier" than round tails... a lot farther down the cuteness scale too, in my opinion.
1 year agoWoot woot! Your streak continues. Congratulations young man.
1 year agoBeautiful.
1 year agoChapeau! Now that I’m officially a senior, maybe I’ll give riding my age in miles during the coming year. What are miles again?
1 year agoCongrats on reaching your goal, Scott! Luckily you had good weather and a scenic area to do the ride.
1 year agoYup. One of the few things I’d change about this town would be better land use laws so it would start growing up more than out.
1 year agoThanks, Keith. This was as satisfying a birding day as I can remember.
1 year agoA shame about that ugly sprawl of development in the midground, though.
1 year agoGood camouflage! Wrens are such cute little birds.
1 year agoWhich answers my question, before I ask it.
1 year agoAs is this! What a handsome creature.
1 year agoThat's a fine portrait.
1 year agoOh, that's the famous Mile 227 Pass. Glad I could help you out.

Do you have a RWGPS map for today's ride? I stopped to offer navigation assistance to two men. They were heading for 'the lake', which I think might have been Silverbell Lake - except I'm not a birder, and I avoid the east side of the Santa Cruz wash, so I never go past the Silverbell Lake. Question mark? It seems I should be passing these lakes you mention, I need to check the details.
1 year agoJacinto went to Colossal Caves today, and I have a 36 mile route to go there tomorrow. He was seduced by the undulating road photo you took. His photos of all of the saguaros convinced me!
