Well done!
10 months agoThese guys are bigger and "spottier" than round tails... a lot farther down the cuteness scale too, in my opinion.
10 months agoWoot woot! Your streak continues. Congratulations young man.
10 months agoBeautiful.
10 months agoChapeau! Now that I’m officially a senior, maybe I’ll give riding my age in miles during the coming year. What are miles again?
10 months agoCongrats on reaching your goal, Scott! Luckily you had good weather and a scenic area to do the ride.
10 months agoYup. One of the few things I’d change about this town would be better land use laws so it would start growing up more than out.
10 months agoThanks, Keith. This was as satisfying a birding day as I can remember.
10 months agoA shame about that ugly sprawl of development in the midground, though.
10 months agoGood camouflage! Wrens are such cute little birds.

10 months agoThat's a fine portrait.
10 months agoOh, that's the famous Mile 227 Pass. Glad I could help you out.

Do you have a RWGPS map for today's ride? I stopped to offer navigation assistance to two men. They were heading for 'the lake', which I think might have been Silverbell Lake - except I'm not a birder, and I avoid the east side of the Santa Cruz wash, so I never go past the Silverbell Lake. Question mark? It seems I should be passing these lakes you mention, I need to check the details.
10 months agoJacinto went to Colossal Caves today, and I have a 36 mile route to go there tomorrow. He was seduced by the undulating road photo you took. His photos of all of the saguaros convinced me!
