2 years agoIt's been a couple of years since the Christmas Train has run and newcomers to Portland were asking on Nextdoor what that weird sound was. A real choo-choo steam whistle that makes us all smile when we hear it.

2 years agoI can't decide which part of your first paragraph is a bigger fib--the part about this Gregory guy being creative, or the part about the complicated rules, qualifiers, and exceptions. Either way, I just thought I should post this comment so all your readers don't get the wrong idea.

2 years agoThanks, Eva. Dinner was great at Nuestra Cucina, a long standing favorite here that we haven’t dined at since before Covid. We’re happy to see they survived, unlike so many other eateries here.
